The Finance Minister expressed these views while speaking to the business community in Austria where President Maithripala Sirisena is currently on a two day visit.Speaking further the Minister said that Sri Lanka can be a hub for investors looking at markets in India. The Government says it wants to maintain its strong partnership with China while also having economic agreements with other countries.Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake said that there has been a general perception that Sri Lanka is extremely sensitive to investments from China. But he said Sri Lanka also wants to open its markets for more European investments and this has been made possible as a result of the commitments the Government has made on the human rights issue.
